When you send an enquiry through the form we receive your name, email address, any company and website you give, the topic you choose and your description. We also record which page and which link on this site led you to the form (for example “integrations” and “hero-primary”), so we understand which pages are useful.

We use this information only to reply to you and to discuss the work you describe. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, and, where you ask us to, taking steps towards a contract.

Enquiries are sent to our own mailbox and kept in a log on our web server, outside the public part of the site, so nothing is lost if email fails. Messages our filter identifies as unsolicited sales pitches are kept in the same log but not emailed. We keep enquiry records for 24 months from receipt, unless they become part of a client relationship, when our client records policy applies.

We don’t sell or share enquiries with anyone else. Our hosting and email providers process them on our behalf.

Our own usage log uses no cookies and stores nothing in your browser.

A small script from this site reports a few interactions to our own server: clicking a call to action, a telephone or email link, or the link to eplatforms, and starting or sending the enquiry form. Each event records only:

• the time (UTC) and the kind of event
• the path of the page, and the identifier of the link clicked
• the host name of the site that referred you (for example “google.com”), never the full address
• any utm_source, utm_medium or utm_campaign campaign labels in the page address

The event log does not record your IP address, browser or device details, or anything that identifies you, and it is never combined with enquiries at an individual level. We use it to see which pages and links lead to enquiries. We keep it for 13 months.

To limit abuse of the form, the server counts submissions per connection using a one-way hash of the connection’s address combined with the current hour. The count is deleted after an hour.

We also use Google Analytics, with Google’s Consent Mode, to understand how visitors find and use the site. When you first visit, a message asks whether you accept analytics cookies.

• Before you choose, or if you decline, Google Analytics sets no cookies. It still sends Google limited signals without cookies – such as that a page was viewed, with your browser’s IP address and user agent – which Google uses to estimate visitor numbers.
• If you accept, it sets the cookies _ga and _ga_MKC6GV3SYM, which last up to 13 months, and Google processes information such as the pages you view, how you arrived, your device and browser, and your approximate location.
• The interactions listed above (calls to action, telephone and email links, starting or sending the form) and a completed enquiry are also sent to Google Analytics as events. They never include what you type into the form.
• We never grant consent for advertising, personalised ads or remarketing.

Google acts as our processor for Google Analytics and may process this information outside the UK. Your choice is remembered in your browser for a year, and you can change it at any time with “Cookie settings” at the foot of every page.

Like most websites, our hosting and network providers process connection data, such as IP addresses and browser details, to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. These technical logs are kept only for as long as needed for security and troubleshooting.

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it or stop using it. You can also object to processing based on our legitimate interests. Contact us using the details above; we will respond within one month.
